The 2021 Edition of the Honda CB 1000 R is described to be more tighter, sleeker, with an even more aggressive stance.

Honda wouldn't be Honda if they didn't give their own twist to their power naked.
The CB 1000R is not competing with the 180hp+ bikes on performance, but should they?

The Africa Twin was their interpretation of a Big Adventure Bike, also not having the performance output of the other players.
But their twin did live up to the expectations.

Their CB 1000R will be available in 3 colours:

  • Candy Chromosphere Red
  • Mat Ballistic Black Metallic
  • Matt Beta Silver Metallic

From my point of view Honda delivered with the newest version of the CB 1000R again a thing of beauty.

An updated headlight, a redesigned the subframe, the look and feel of the bike is still the same.
Elegant, sporty and a bit cheeky.

Honda didn't take the retro or hypermodern look but made a sweet mix of both.

Features, Gadgets and Goodies...
It still makes me wonder: Do we need all of them?

Being able to select Three levels of Power, Engine Brake and Honda Selectable Torque Control are features that will come in handy when riding in different conditions.
But who felt the need during your commute or trip to talk to their bike?

The new CB has the Honda Smartphone Voice Control System that links the rider to their smartphone via Bluetooth and 5-inch colour TFT screen.
Could we tell our bike to slow down when we're not feeling up for it?

Did you know....

That the adjustable front fork is a Showa Separate Function Fork Big Piston unit (SFF-BP).
It contains all the damping function in one leg, reducing weight, while delivering compliance, comfort and control across a broad range of riding conditions.
The Showa rear shock, adjusts for spring preload, and rebound damping.
