With the appearance of the special version Desert Sled Fasthouse, the Ducati Scrambler adds another piece to a great success story.

From the moment of its presentation back in 2014, the Ducati Scrambler 800 has grinded one success after another, becoming a brand on its own. Not only of motorcycles but of accessories, clothing and style, all combined in the "Land of Joy".

A little bit of history to clarify: The Scrambler 800 was presented at Intermot in 2014, available in four versions:  Icon, Urban Enduro, Full Throttle and Classic. It borrowed the already known 796cc engine from the Monster and Hypermotard.

In 2015, the first year on the market, Scrambler sales exceeded 16,000 units out of 54,800 Ducatis sold overall in the world.

Shortly after, its smaller sister, the 400cc version is added to the line-up, the Scrambler Sixty2. Power drops from 75 to 41 horses and there is some simplification in the set-up, but the 400 is a Scrambler to all intents and purposes and embraces a wider audience.

Another year passes and the family expands, the Cafè Racer and the Desert Sled are presented in 2016, the first is inspired by the Café Racer born in the 60s, the second recalls the roadways of the 60s and 70s transformed with spoked wheels and long-travel suspension for off-road cruising.

The Scrambler 1100 , presented at EICMA 2017, completes the Scrambler line-up upwards: the increase in displacement brings with it an entire re-design from scratch, the 1100 is a totally new bike, including electronics: it has ABS Cornering, DTC traction control and riding mode.
It is immediately available in three versions, Standard, Special and Sport and is the top of the Scrambler range.

It is 2018 and the new version of the Scrambler Icon is presented five years after its launch. The design remains unmistakable Scrambler, however, it is updated and refined.

2019 is the year of the Icon 800 Dark and concept DesertX Scrambler and The Motard. The first is an essential version of the Icon, the two others concepts.

In 2020 the 1100 range is renewed, resulting in 1100 Pro, 1100 Dark Pro and 1100 Sport Pro. Together with the refresh in the 1100 range there are also innovations for the 800, which are presented in the MY2021 and made Euro 5 compliant.
In fact, the Night Shift is born, which absorbs the Full Throttle and Café Racer, the Icon is renewed and the same fate for the Desert Sled : for all 800 the engine now delivers 73 horsepower.

In March 2020 a Scrambler Desert Sled set up by the North American branch and Fasthouse dominated the Hooligan class of the Mint 400, a prestigious off-road event that takes place every year in the United States and involves more than 550 participants.
The limited edition (800 units) Desert Sled Fasthouse is born, which is in fact a replica using the Desert Sled as the base of the winning bike at the Mint 400.
