2022 BMW R1300 GS?

Through the Italians of InMoto we learn that BMW will probably present a new large GS at the end of this year. The bike builds on the historical foundation of the GS as a high-powered with telelever fork and boxer engine… but the biggest novelty seems to have been taken from a surprising newcomer.
The camouflage fairing reveals that the front may receive some adjustments with a new headlight, but otherwise it is too early to make any statements. And yet: from the leaked images we see that the suspension of the motorcycle is seriously adjustable in height.
A point to which many GS drivers are sensitive, after all you are on the road with a beast that fully loaded already weighs about 300 kilos. It would therefore be practical to be able to put your feet to the ground just a little faster when boarding or boarding a passenger, for example, while also retaining the long suspension travel for driving comfort and shock absorption on the road.

BMW France launches Limited Edition S1000RR

“What they can do at Ducati or MV, we can do too!” That's what they thought at BMW France and promptly an 'Isle of Man' Limited Edition Racing Green S 1000 RR appeared.
The Isle of Man edition is a tribute to the many successes of the S 1000 RR on the island and at the same time a nod to the M-sport denominator that BMW's two-wheelers will now receive. Among other things, the color is derived from another BMW M product, the M3 Saloon, but there are more links.
The forged wheels were given the copper crankcase color, just like the carbon ceramic brakes of the M3, a carbon pack was also chatted against (like the carbon roof of the M3 Saloon) and the Alcantara seat and passenger seat are also a reference to BMW's racing car for on the road. As mentioned, the color is the beautiful 'Isle of Man Green' that is identical to the color of the M3 and a nice detail are the LED headlights, which have a yellow glow, presumably wrapped. Finally, there is a full Akra carbon pipe. Not unimportant to know is that this motorcycle is limited to an edition of 50 pieces ...

Wordrecord for MV Agusta Turismo Veloce

We have already reported that journalist Valerio Boni made a bid for a world record on Monday 21 June.
He drove his MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso SCS over 2,003km in less than 24 hours, visiting 11 countries, setting a new world record using a standard Turismo Veloce.
The TVEE (Turismo Veloce Europe Endurance) ride officially started at 5:38 pm, as can be seen on the receipt of a petrol station in the western suburbs of Malmö, where Boni refueled. A few kilometers through Sweden, then over the scenic bridge to Denmark, and then all the way south.
The weather conditions changed several times during the trip: after an unusually warm day in Sweden, a pleasant breeze accompanied Boni as he crossed the Oresund Bridge to Denmark. At the German border, a spectacular sunset and a night of heavy rain awaited Boni. The sun finally showed itself around noon the next day, as temperatures rose.
On the one hand, the average speed required to reach the target was not too high, but on the other, road works, traffic and strict speed limits did not leave much room for maneuver, let alone time to sit back and relax. Good progress was made in the first five hours, with an average speed of 100 km/h, and Boni was ahead of schedule. But no additional stops could be made to rest or let the engine cool down. The instruments on board confirm that the Turismo Veloce's engine has been running for more than 23 hours.
A detour through a blocked road in the Netherlands made the situation even more complicated, but once in Schiranna, the officially recorded distance was 2,003 km. Mission accomplished.

Bimota KB4 first pictures

After Kawasaki acquired 49 percent of the shares, Bimota would mass-produce the KB4 as its second model. Now an image is doing the rounds on the internet that would show the KB4 in its final form. The motorcycle with the retro cafe racer look is based on the chassis of the Kawasaki Z1000. The block has been modified and produces about 140 horsepower.
In appearance, it is reminiscent of earlier Bimota models, where the round front with the large round headlight in particular catches the eye. The photo is said to belong to Bimota himself and was published on the Bimota Classic Facebook page, but was quickly removed from there. We expect an official presentation of the KB4 at the EICMA 2021.
