Since the introduction of the speed triple way back in 1994 the speed triple has always been a top British motorcycle.
Every iteration made it a better naked bike, a true cornerstone for the Triumph brand. But, the competition have not been twiddling their thumbs,
and Triumph lost the pole position in super-naked market, until now, until the introduction of the Speed Triple 1200 RS.

A totally new bike according to Triumph, blessed with 177 bhp and 125 nm of torque. This power comes from a 1260cc triple power plant, with less inertia. The red line is also upped to 11150rpm, despite the increase in cubes.
Triumph engineers have reworked the inlead and exhaust systems, and has completely new, stacked gear box which results in smoother and slicker gear changes.
The 1200 Speed Triple RS is immune for the Corona-gain-weight and tops the scales at 7 kilograms lighter for the engine, the bike weights 10 kilograms less in total then the previous model coming to a 198 kilograms wet.

The whole bike is more compact and the design is focused around mass centralization - very Honda.

No fancy electronic suspension on this one, but the bike is equipped with Ohlin suspension.

Stopping power is guaranteed with Brembo brakes. Their is the almost trademarked 5 inch display for this bike, which includes all information, along with cornering ETC, cornering ABS and a new anti-wheelie system - which you gonna need with this much power.

Standard the bike comes with 5 riding modes, quick shifter, cruise control and key-less ignition. A track timer is also includes, which gives away the true nature of this bike.

It's available in two colors, matt silver and black and will be available end of March 2021.
