On the road with 2fast4u.be... But what exactly is 2fast4u.be?
2fast4u.be is (or me/us) the heart of Belgium's motorcycle community, an online hub that has grown into so much more. It's where riders of all levels—whether you’re into sport bikes, tourers, or cruisers—come together for unforgettable ride-outs, laid-back weekend trips, and plenty of laughs along the way. From twisting backroads to cross-country adventures, 2fast4u.be is all about the love of two wheels and the friendships that make every journey special.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, they organized an incredible 9-day trip in the south of France—packed with amazing roads, breathtaking views, and the kind of camaraderie only a group of passionate bikers can share. It was pure motorcycle magic with friends who make every mile unforgettable!
2manybiks, and a week of 2fast4u Adventures
Our trip to the Vercors with 2fast4u.be was packed with everything you’d want in a motorcycle adventure: breathtaking routes, plenty of laughs, a few unexpected hiccups, and, of course, some throttle-happy fun. It all started with Jo and me leaving a day early, aiming for a head start on the excitement. The journey there was a mix of smooth cruising and a few missteps—like realizing our car's GPS had stealthily steered us away from toll roads. But hey, what's a little detour when you're on the brink of a week-long biking adventure?
Once we arrived, the hotel became our basecamp for a week of winding roads, hairpin turns, and dramatic landscapes. Our first ride was a foggy adventure through the Vercors, with visibility so low it felt like riding through a dream—or a horror movie. By midday, we’d joined forces with a group of riders, each of us navigating the misty terrain like a pack of heat-seeking missiles. The fog lifted just in time for me to have my own little “moment,” involving a misplaced GPS and some impromptu engineering to retrieve it from between two metal steps. It wouldn’t be the last unexpected challenge of the week.
The next few days blurred into a mix of solo rides and group adventures. Some days, we set out with the crew, only to find the group too big to stick together—or, in some cases, too fast. Jo and I quickly fell into a rhythm, carving out our own pace on routes that never failed to impress. From the sweeping curves of Lac Du Sautet to the steep climbs of Col de la Chaudière, each day offered a new kind of thrill. Along the way, we had our share of amusing moments—like watching Mike turn a roadside snack stop into a circus act with boiled eggs, tea spills, and some impressively quick costume changes.
One highlight of the week was our ride to Mount Ventoux, a route that tested both our stamina and our fuel planning skills. By sheer luck (and a bit of range anxiety), we managed to fill up just in time before tackling the legendary climb. Ventoux didn’t disappoint, and the ride through the Gorges de la Nesque on the way back was nothing short of magical. Of course, the gendarmes decided to add some drama to the day, but a minor brush with the law wasn’t enough to dampen our spirits.
As the week went on, the rides became more fluid, the routes more familiar, and the memories richer. We revisited some of our favorite spots, like the Col De La Rousette, this time blessed with clear skies and perfect conditions. Lunch stops turned into social events, with pizza, vintage bikes, and stories shared among friends. The miles rolled by too quickly, and before we knew it, it was time to head home.
The final leg was a long highway haul back to reality, but the memories of the Vercors lingered. That week wasn’t just about the incredible roads or the stunning views—it was about the shared laughs, the unexpected moments, and the people who made every turn unforgettable. This trip was 2fast4u.be at its finest: a celebration of two wheels, good company, and the endless joy of the open road.
