Husqvarna Yellow Arrow - Gas&Retro

Yellow Arrow, a play on words that comes from the combination of the model's original name, as Vitpilen means white arrow in Swedish, and the bright color of this 701 special.

The Slovenian workshop Gas&Retro has launched a Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 special under the name Yellow Arrow, with yellow fairings interspersed with red inserts.

In reality, the work done here by Gas&Retro is mainly aesthetic.
In concrete terms, this is the new fairing that 'embraces' the original headlight, the butt and a whole series of more or less aerodynamic aluminum attachments then gradually refined to achieve an optimal result.
The final kit should also include a new license plate holder and titanium mesh for the exhaust.

Up front, the Yellow Arrow has a Showa BFF 43mm front fork from a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and a twin disc brake with M50 monoblock calipers from Bergamo, the Bergamo brand that also supplies the new handlebar levers and Corsa Corta radial master cylinder.

In addition, there is a whole host of subtle touches such as the radiator protection mesh, lever guards and the small exhaust manifold protection plate between the two lower aerodynamic appendages.
It should also be noted that the original exhaust pipe has been shortened by 1 cm and has been fitted with a new end cap for greater slimness.

With the exception of a few upgrades to the chassis, the elements that transform Husqvarna's nimble single-cylinder into the Yellow Arrow are basically bolted onto the existing structure, with no major changes required.
These new fairings would soon be available as a plug-and-play via the official website.
