The last KTM superbike, the RC8, was discontinued in 2016 because KTM felt sportbikes with more than 200 horsepower didn't belong on the street.
Until now a RC890 has been spotted, but it is only intended for the racetrack.
Info is limited, but this track bike is powered by an 890cc two-cylinder with Moto2 performance, limited production to 100 units worldwide.
Typical for this prototype, it has a trellis frame, and what we can see from the pictures is that the fuel tank is relocated to the rear of the bike.
