On the video you can already see that the appearance is different with a new headlight and winglets, but also with a new 'high' rear. The headlight 'stacks' a number of parts of the lighting on top of each other, as with the 2021 Hayabusa.
It can also be seen that there is a new tank, with a recess at the front of the top. Given the state of affairs with the Hayabusa, it is also expected that the new S will get a similar full electronics package with ride-by-wire, cruise control, launch control, combined brake system, hill hold control, riding modes, anti-lift control (anti-wheelie), engine brake control and a quickshifter. Further information is still lacking, but one thing is certain: engine-wise, the necessary adjustments will have been made to obtain the mandatory Euro5 homologation.
Suzuki promises to provide more information in three weeks, making it obvious that the GSX-S1000 will eventually be official for model year 2022.
