With the 2023 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S, it's now a lot easier to hit the road anywhere and everywhere thanks to the comprehensive navigation software.
The 1290 has a 7” TFT display that gives the rider full control over the RIDE MODES, the advanced WP semi-active suspension, the ABS settings and the adaptive Cruise Control.
In addition, the combination of intuitive buttons on the handlebars and quick access to the technical capabilities of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is an important business card.
For 2023, the KTM Connect App now features Turn-by-Turn+ guidance and waypoint markings. The same functionality also extends to audio tracks and listing phone calls.

The engine was not touched, and a good thing because the V-Twin LC8 block was already good for 160 hp and 138 Nm of torque.

The unit fits into a light, ten-kilogram frame made of chrome-molybdenum stainless steel, which is suitable for short trips, mountain passes and long distances.
The rest of the package is befitting a premium motorcycle for the road: the LED lighting, redesigned windshield with adjustment options and multi-piece seat.
The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S can be further upgraded with optional electronic packages, a Quickshifter+ and WP Suspension Pro, among others. Whether these also run in DEMO mode for the first 1500 km is unknown.
