The legendary Ninja ZX-6R is back in the Kawasaki lineup. This fan favorite knows how to mix street driving enjoyment with superb track performance like no other supersport. The legendary 636cc straight-four engine powers the new Ninja ZX-6R. A 37cc increase over standard 600cc supersports gives additional power while also improving engine character for street use. The engine has been completely redesigned for 2024, with a new camshaft profile, new intake funnels, and an improved manifold and collector. These advancements deliver increased torque at low and middle rpm while also lowering pollutants.

The incorporation of integrated driving modes is also new for 2024. The four accessible settings (Sport, Road, Rain, and the configurable Rider mode) allow the rider to easily select the setting that best suits the conditions. Furthermore, the ABS has been upgraded, and a quickshifter is standard equipment.

Keeping the aluminum perimeter frame, which is critical to the superb blend of nimble handling, cornering control, and the ability to change line quickly, along with excellent chassis feedback.

Front radial-mount monobloc calipers, 310mm discs, and a radial master cylinder deliver strong braking with superb brake lever feel. The rear wheel is slowed by a 220mm disc brake and a lightweight caliper. A fully adjustable 41mm Showa SFF-BP front fork and a fully adjustable rear shock absorber offer suspension.

The most noticeable difference is the new design. The fully rebuilt top fairing, in particular, exudes Ninja DNA. The new LED projector headlights and Ram-Air intake painted in color, for example, immediately strike the eye. Vents in the "layered" 3D fairing design provide additional downforce and divert wind away from the rider. The chin spoiler is angled downward to increase downforce during cornering. At high speeds, openings in the redesigned windscreen relieve pressure buildup behind the windshield.

A new 4.3'' (11 cm) TFT color display with Bluetooth smartphone connectivity is housed in the cockpit. In addition to a tachometer with shift indicator and current gear, the display offers a plethora of optional information such as twin trip meters, range, battery voltage, and much more. The Rideology app can read vehicle information as well as maintenance reminders remotely. The screen's brightness automatically varies between three levels based on the amount of natural light.

The new Ninja ZX-6R will be available this fall at the official Kawasaki dealer in two colors:

  • Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition)
  • Metallic Graphite Gray/Metallic Diablo Black
